Popular Questions

From getting started, to whats next and how do i book suppliers i have everything covered for you in the questions below... If there is a question thats not on the list please dont hesitate to ask me.

How do i get
started?

The very first step...Contact me! I dont mind if its via email, instagram, facebook wherever you prefer! The earlier you contact the better as dates fill up very quickly and there is only so many weddings i can do a year. We will start by talking through your ideas and options either by email or on a call.

Choosing a
venue, Help!!

The biggest desicion, besides choosing a date. I 100% recomend you come visit Nerja and see the venues in person with me, They can all look so diffferent in photos or you dont see all they have to offer. I reccomend viewing 3 or 4 different venues. If viewing in person isnt an option, I will send you photos, videos & all the information on the venue your interested in and we can also do a virtual tour though videocall.

Is there a charge for visiting venues?

No, I dont charge to take you to view the venues. I highly recommend meeting in person and viewing different venues before choosing your venue. We normally meet about 10am and view 3 or 4 different venues

Do i contact the suppliers myself?

Once you have booked your date and started planning with me, i will send you a link of local trusted suppliers that i work with. Once you have had a look through them and decided what you like, i will then contact them for you and check availability. Although i do all the contact with suppliers, deposits are always transferred directo to pay deposits ect.

Is it legal to get married in Spain?

If you decide to get married in the local catholic church you will be legally married on the day. However if you choose to get have a venue ceremony then it would be a symbolic ceremony and you would have to get legally married at your local registry office.

Can anyone get married in the church?

To get legally married in the church both of you MUST be catholic and never married before. Your local parish priest will have to send the corresponding paperwork over to our priest to validate this.

If you or your partner have been married before or are not catholic, we can rent the church with an angelican priest BUT you would have to get legally married in your local registry office.

Do you have
packages?

NO, no no!! I dont work with packages as i prefer each wedding to be completely unique. Every single wedding i plan is completely bespoke to suit you and your partner, there is no two weddings the same.

How many times would we have to visit?

Just twice before the wedding, if possible of course. On your first visit we view the venues and get to know eachother in person.

Second visit - On this visit we would re vsiit the venue, do your menu tasting, hair 6 make up trials and also visit the florist and any other suppliers we need to meet in person.

After this we would meet once you arrive for the wedding, go through final details, payments and to give me anything you need to give me to set up on the day.

During the rest of time we are in contact by email and whatsapp and can do calls to discuss details when needed.

Do you help with accomodatioon for guests?

Sorry i dont. I have too much work with the actual wedding planning so i dont have time to get into accomodation for guests. I can however recommend areas or out you in contact with a local estate agent if you want to rent a villa/apartment.

Are you on site all day on the day?

Yes! From early morning i check in with all suppliers and the wedding venue, ensure the bridal party is getting ready on time, check in on the ceremony/church set up, run around to ensure everything and everyone is where they should be and i stay onsite all day until after the first dance.

Do you also organize the day before & after?

Yes, i am happy to book your group in to local bars/restaurants for your before and after party, however i wouldnt be there on those days.
